BME CURRENT NEWS

BME is pleased to announce its sponsorship of 'THE BIG DOG SHOOT OUT' to be held at Oxford Dragway this coming season 2008.

The 'shoot out' will take the 1st and 2nd highest points scorers from the May/June, July, August and September MMDRA (Maine Motorcycle Drag Racing Association) points.



These 8 racers will go into
'THE BIG DOG SHOOT OUT'
at the last event of the season. 1st and 2nd from each quarter will race off in the first round of eliminations. Each quarter winner will receive a $50 BME shop voucher with a check for $500 going to the 'shoot out' winner. If any quarter has repeat winners, the next highest scorer will go through.

 

ABOUT US

Michael Sharratt was born and trained in England. Serving his apprenticeship and eventually opening his own garage business, he has been involved in Motorsports as both a racer and builder and shares a real passion for racing and performance with his customers. He has worked in various parts of the world as a Marine Engineer before moving to Maine 12 years ago and establishing Bulldog Engineering which now covers all aspects of performance engineering.

Bulldog Motorcycles grew from seeing the need to assist a growing number of motorcycle enthusiasts looking for a high level of experience and service required when working on their classic, British, European and modern sport bikes. Together both companies have grown from a small shop and part time business to its current location with four full time employees in a 70 x 40 ft - 4 storey converted barn. Bulldog Motorcycles now offers expertise in service, performance and restoration of Japanese, European and British motorcycles.

 

 

 

Our Service Dept sets the same high standards of workmanship regardless of age of your motorcycle. The Performance Dept includes Dyno tuning and mapping of bikes. We install performance products, suspension upgrades, install and build extension swing arm kits, big tire conversions as well as engine modifications and full custom rebuilds. The Restoration Shop still maintains its integrity, turning out high quality work that it has become known for, ensuring clients wishes and expectations are met.

Bulldog Engineering specializes in design and fabrication of parts and components. Complete frames and chassis, composite construction, machine work and engine rebuilding. We also run our motorcycle Dragracing and Roadracing Teams from this facility as well as customer supported teams.
