North
- Take exit 6A South Portland. Route 295 North goes around Portland
and back to 95 North (about 10 miles).
- Take exit 22
(Coastal Routes, Brunswick, Bath) onto Route 1 North.
Follow
Route 1 North
-
Go about 40 miles to Route 235 just past Waldoboro and Moody's diner
(Route 1 goes down a long hill into Waldoboro and then back up a
long hill with Moody's on the right at the top of the hill).
- Shortly after
that, you will come to Route 235 on the left; turn left and head
up 235 to Union.
Follow
235
- Go about 9 miles into Union (note, 235 takes
a sharp left at a stop sign and then continues along the lake
up into Union)
- When you come up the hill into Union,
turn left (past the Post Office on the corner) and continue to
Route 17.
- Turn left and then immediately right onto Route 131.

- Go 6.2 miles
- You will come down a hill into Appleton and then up a gradual
hill; stay on 131 bearing right at the fork, past woods on either
side and then open fields on the right.
- Next you'll see a small house on the right, and across the road
on the left, our sign, Bulldog Motorcycles and Engineering - a
house and a large four-story building, our workshops, store, and
offices.

95 North
- Continue North to Augusta.
- Take Exit 30.
Exit 30, Augusta
- Go down Western Ave. (East) to the traffic circle; go half way
around the circle and exit (go in at 6 o'clock and out at 12 o'clock).
- Go across the bridge and over the Kennebec River.
- Just before the traffic circle, turn right and go up the hill.
- At the light turn left onto Route 17 and head East.

Go about 25 - 30 miles.
- Keep your eye out for Union and the John Deer tractor dealer
(Hammond and Tilton); you'll be turning left just after the dealer.
- Turn left onto Rte 131.

- Go 6.2 miles.

(Local) Directions: Looking at the map above,
we're in Midcoast Maine on Route 131 in Appleton. You can get
to Route 131 by following Route 17 West out of Rockland, following
Route 17 East out of Augusta, or by following Route 105 West out
of Camden.
From
Route 17 if you're coming West from Rockland, turn right (North)
onto Route 131; if you're coming East from Augusta, turn left
(North) onto Route 131. Bulldog Motorcycles and Engineering is
6.2 miles from Route 17. When you get to Appleton, we're another
.8 mile on 131. Look for our sign on the left.
From
Route 105, turn left (South) onto Route 131. Bulldog Motorcycles
and Engineering is 1.6 miles from where you turn onto 131. Look
for our sign on the right.
If
you are coming from the North, follow Route 3 out of Belfast and
turn left (South) onto Route 131. When you get to Route 105, Bulldog
Motorcycles and Engineering is another 1.6 miles. Look for our
sign on the right. |
