| Introduction: |
|
| Sidecar
Racing is the only motorsport that requires two racers to act and
react together, in full view of the spectators. The passenger moves
back and forth across the Sidecar with split-second timing. This
coupled with close competition and high speed makes these high tech
race machines a must for any serious motorsport enthusiast. |

| Turns
ultimately define the distinctive character of
sidecar racing. Entering a right turn, the driver
breaks and shifts down from 160 miles per hour. |

The
passenger must literally climb head first over the
driver to position his body over the rear wheel.
The passenger's face hangs precariously only inches
away from the pavement. |

TURN POSITION - On The Track |

For
a left turn, all the passenger's weight shifts to
the left with half of his body outside of the sidecar,
just inches from the pavement, sometimes even grazing
it. |
